Besides co-authoring literary works with her husband George, Terry was the chief researcher for the book The Trial of Louis Riel, Justice and Mercy Denied

George and Terry have given presentations on the Metis and Louis Riel to thousands of people all across Canada - from Vancouver Island in the Pacific Ocean to Prince Edward Island in the Atlantic Ocean as well as in the United States.

"Thank you for the presentation you made to the SUNTEP Regina students and staff. We found the talk to be engaging and informative. There was something in your presentation for everyone. We also found your presentation to be both scholarly and warm. There is something about hearing your history from within, in an inclusive rather than exclusive way, that makes the historical events much more meaningful."
