Jeannie Harmon

Jeannie Harmon has authored more than twenty children’s books and worked in a publishing house for over fifteen years. Currently she serves as the Senior Editor in a children’s book division. In the course of her publishing career, she has edited hundreds of kid’s books, including board books, picture books, juvenile fiction, and a host of nonfiction books about science, sports, music, and the Bible.

She has taught at several writers’ conferences and enjoys inspiring beginning authors to pursue writing for kids in the new millennium. As technology changes, she sees exciting opportunities for creative authors to make a difference in kids’ lives through the Internet.

Sheila Seifert has been a freelance writer for more than fifteen years. As a former day care director and a current mother of three, Sheila has spent many hours with young children. She writes not only for children, but also for adults and has had over 1,000 sales.

Wanting to help aspiring writers learn more about the craft of writing and the art of marketing, Sheila became the co-founder of Colorado Writers Fellowship, a nonprofit corporation that brings in speakers for local writers. In addition, she teaches writing at the University of Colorado in Denver.
